Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a research university in Nottingham, England. It is recognised as one of the UK’s truly outstanding universities, through its commitments to excellence in teaching and research, innovation, employability, sustainability, and student experience.

Location

Nottingham is a great place to study, with a welcoming community of more than 60,000 students from around the world. It’s about 2 hours by train from London and Manchester, with an affordable cost of living. It’s quite a small city by UK standards – you can easily walk around the city and find everything you need for work and leisure.

Campuses

NTU has campuses across Nottinghamshire:

  • City Campus, located right in the heart of Nottingham (for those studying with the Business or Law School, the School of Art & Design, the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, the School of Social Sciences or at the Centre For Broadcasting & Journalism);
  • Clifton Campus – a vibrant student village with everything you need right on your doorstep (for those joining the School of Art and Humanities, the School of Science and Technology, or the Nottingham Institute of Education);
  • Brackenhurst – a stunning countryside estate (for those joining the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences);
  • Confetti – based right in Nottingham city centre (for those studying NTU’s college courses in subjects like digital media, music and games development);
  • Mansfield – about 14 miles north of Nottingham (NTU has teamed up Vision West Nottinghamshire College (VWNC) in Mansfield to offer foundation degrees in a variety of subjects, as well as apprenticeships).
