About

With heritage in Britain’s pioneering aeronautical industry, the University of Hertfordshire (also known as UOH or Herts) has been an innovative force in education since the early 1950s. Today, they host a thriving community of more than 30,000 students, studying 550-degree options at their vibrant, inclusive, campus-based institution. Their strong relationships with industry and award-winning careers services complement high-quality teaching to ensure Herts’ students gain the knowledge and skills they need to match their ambition and succeed.

The university partners with institutions around the world, and welcomes over 10,000 international students from over 140 countries to their UK campus. From Creative Arts, Humanities and Psychology to Engineering and Technology, their schools of study open the door to a huge and fascinating range of subjects.

Employability

The University has long-standing links with business, industry, public sector and professional organisations.

From economics to English literature, every one of Herts’ courses is designed to boost the skills employers are looking for. That’s because each school works closely with experienced business people to plan its teaching programme. For example, all Hertfordshire Business School students study modules in employability and entrepreneurship.
