About Us

Coventry University is one of the UK’s leading new universities. It has gained a reputation as an innovative and ambitious institution.

Its Research Centres focus on five key themes: Intelligent Products and Processes; Health and Wellbeing; Creative Cultures; Sustainability and Resilience; and Safety and Security.

Coventry University also cooperates closely with industries: its business support teams act as a liaison for interested companies who hope to use the skills, knowledge and expertise provided by the university’s academics and research centres.

Entry Requirements

It is important for you to remember that you will require fluent spoken and written English if you intend to study at Coventry University. However, if you are not yet quite up to standard, don’t worry: the university offers an extensive range of pre-sessional courses, which will raise your English up to the required standard.

For year 1 and year 2 undergraduate study, an IELTS of 6.0 is required; to qualify for 10 weeks of pre-sessional training to lift you to IELTS 6.0, you should have achieved an IELTS of 5.0. If your IELTS is 4.0, then a 30-week course will be required. For a top-up or postgraduate study programme, a 6.5 IELTS is necessary.

For full details of the language requirements, visit the Coventry University website and follow the links for international students. You will also find full details regarding fees and enrolment dates.
